This year the Institute Comprehensive celebrated Memorial Day. The fact
January 27, 1945 was the liberation of the survivors of the extermination camp at Auschwitz. Since 2001, Italy is promoting a day of reflection to remember the Holocaust, the persecution of the Jews and those who have sacrificed their lives to save the persecuted.
To the students it was shown the 2008 film directed by Mark Herman "The Boy in the Striped Pajamas" based on the novel by John Boyne and is followed a discussion in class.
